Features: 2A06 aluminum rod is high-strength duralumin, the pressure processing performance and machinability are the same as 2A12, and the plasticity is still good in the annealed and just quenched state. 2A06 aluminum alloy can be quenched and aged. General corrosion stability is the same as 2A12. When heated to 150-250 ° C, the tendency to form intergranular corrosion is smaller than that of 2A12. The spot welding performance is the same as 2A12 and 2A16. Argon arc welding is better than 2A12, but lower than 2A16. 2a06 is a typical hard aluminum alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium system. Its composition is reasonable and its comprehensive performance is good. This alloy is produced in many countries and is the most used duralumin. The alloy has the characteristics of high strength and certain heat resistance, and can be used as a working part below 150 °C. At temperatures above 125°C, the strength of 2a06 alloy is higher than that of 7075 alloy. The formability of hot state, annealed state and new quenched state is good, and the strengthening effect of heat treatment is remarkable, but the heat treatment process requires strict requirements. Corrosion resistance is poor, but it can be effectively protected by covering with pure aluminum; cracks are easy to occur during welding, but special welding or riveting can be used.
